Shopping needs and generated searches
The current Product Finder and Alternatives tools use local JavaScript rules in your browser. They do not send typed shopping requests to an AI server or retailer. Clicking an external marketplace link sends the selected search phrase to that retailer, where its own terms and privacy practices apply.
Shopping lists and photos
The list designer uses browser storage and may use IndexedDB to store locally selected images. Product photos are processed on your device. The site prototype has no hosted picture-sharing service. Clearing site data or changing browsers may remove saved items. Exporting a PNG creates a local file that you control.
Anonymous diagnostic counters
Basic event counts (such as a tool result appearing or a link being opened) may be stored in your current browser session. The prototype does not send these counts to a central analytics server or collect the text of your shopping requests as analytics events. These local counts cannot measure total site traffic.
Affiliate links and third parties
The fixed Amazon carousel contains links supplied by the site owner. Opening one takes you to an external site. This prototype does not automatically read Amazon prices or product reviews and does not use that content to build a database.
Before a public launch
The operator must add working contact details, confirm host and third-party processing practices, and review this notice against the laws of the markets served before publishing. This is a factual explanation of the current prototype, not a completed legal privacy compliance assessment.
